Nearly 186,000 trees planted in one month

After one month of implementing the urban greening campaign towards building a “Green - Friendly City” for the 2024-2030 period and the next years, Thu Dau Mot city has successfully planted nearly 186,000 various trees, achieving 52% of the target set for 2024.

Currently, the city’s urban green land ratio is 14.62 square meters per person. The total green coverage area in the city is approximately 45%. The whole city has 121 parks and gardens covering nearly 365 hectares, with more than 23,000 trees planted and managed.

To successfully carry out the urban greening campaign towards building a “Green - Friendly City” for the 2024-2030 period and in the next years, the city has set a goal of planting 360,000 trees in 2024.
