Enterprises encouraged to voluntarily observe laws on Customs

The Customs Department of Binh Duong province has recently collaborated with the Risk Management Department to organize a seminar in preparation for the official implementation of the program to encourage businesses to voluntarily comply with customs laws. The seminar focused on assessing the situation and results of the two-year pilot implementation, as well as gathering feedback on difficulties and limitations encountered during the pilot phase. At the same time, a plan was developed to prepare for the official implementation in the near future.

The Customs Department of Binh Duong has signed agreements with 23 businesses in the registered area to participate in the voluntary customs compliance program. The goal of the program is for all participating businesses to gradually improve their compliance level within 2 years (80% average and high compliance level). Binh Duong Customs Department uses these results as well as the participating businesses themselves as propagandists to help non-participating businesses have a good awareness of voluntary compliance with customs laws.
