"Joining the Mekong" is full of friendship

On March 25, Binh Duong Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee and Provincial Student Association Secretariat coordinated with Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations and Binh Duong University to hold the 12th Joining the Mekong 2024 program in Binh Duong province.

At this event, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee, the Provincial Student Association Secretariat and Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam Vietcombank - Binh Duong Branch awarded 10 scholarships to students having difficult circumstances studying at colleges and universities in the province, each worth 5 million VND; awarded 20 scholarships to students from Laos and Cambodia studying at Ngo Quyen University and Thu Dau Mot University. The program also included a culinary festival of three countries, a national costume performance contest; Mekong sentimental art competition.

The "Joining the Mekong" program is held annually, aiming to further tighten and strengthen the traditional friendship and solidarity between Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia in general and students of Binh Duong province with students from Laos and Cambodia studying in Binh Duong province in particular.
