The provincial Taxation Bureau just held a summing up conference on its activities in 2010 and set out measures for 2011. In the past year, the bureau conducted the proposed measures synchronously and effectively with the total budget collection of over VND12,722bil, a rise of 128.24% from 2009. Of this, some goals exceeded the set plans.

For examples, tax collection from foreign businesses reached over VND104% from its estimate, a year-on-year increase of 119.14% whilst tax collection from private businesses got 117.57% of its estimate, a year-on-year rise of 142.34% from 2009.
