More than VND2bln spent on helping farmers in economic development

Under the movement of “Farmers emulate good business production, enrichment and sustainable poverty reduction”, since early this year, Phu Giao district’s Farmers Association has disbursed over VND 2 billion in loan for 808 farming households to boost their production models

The district’s Farmers Association has also disbursed more than VND 1.4 billion in loan from the Social Policy Bank for 745 households; VND 475 million from the district’s Fund for Farmers for 23 households to invest in cultivation and animal husbandry. The association has also mobilized companies, agents in fertilizer, plant protection medicine, animal feed…to sell on credit, deferred payment for members while mobilizing well-off households to provide cash, nurlings, breeding animals…for 40 difficult ones with a total of approximately VND120 million.
