Early March 1, the Standing Committee on Law of the National Assembly (NA) held its 20th plenary session in Bac Giang province to give opinions on the Project of establishing 2 wards, An Dien and An Tay, in Ben Cat town and Ben Cat city in Binh Duong province. Accordingly, the Standing Committee on Law of the NA approved the establishment of An Dien and An Tay wards in Ben Cat town and the establishment of Ben Cat city in Binh Duong province.

The Standing Committee on Law of the NA said that the documents to establish An Dien and An Tay wards in Ben Cat town and Ben Cat city in Binh Duong province were complete under the regulations of the Law on Local Government Organization and Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on standards of administrative units and classification of administrative units.

The establishment of An Tay and An Dien wards in Ben Cat town and Ben Cat city in Binh Duong province is an objective need in line with construction planning, socio-economic development planning and development planning of Vietnam's urban system until 2025 while being consistent with the zone planning of Ho Chi Minh city.
