North Tan Uyen marks HCMYPO’s 75th anniversary

On April 23, North Tan Uyen district in collaboration with the district’s Division of Education and Training held a ceremony to mark the 75^th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization (HCMYPO) (May 15, 1941-May 15, 2016).

At the ceremony, delegates reviewed the glorious tradition of the HCMYPO. Upholding this tradition, the district’s HCMYPO organized a variety of traditional and modern activities, greatly contributing to educating and training morals among the local children, pupils. In 2016 alone, 15 “young shoot” works worth more than VND70mln were carried out. The local “Small Plan” movement collected nearly VND70mln.

Seventy-five outstanding pupils in study and HCMYPO movements of the district in the 2015-2016 academic year were also honored and awarded red ties at the ceremony.
