Offenses on internet environment sanctioned

On the basis of the results of grasping the area and situation related to security and order and network security, Binh Duong provincial People's Committee has directed the functional forces to detect, prevent and handle myriad violations in cyberspace from the beginning of the year until now.

The provincial People's Committee specifically directed the provincial Police to coordinate with the Department of Information and Communications to examine and sanction two individuals who violated the law in the field of information and communication in cyberspace, thereby, they were fined VD 50 million. Three other people who have acts of using social network space to post articles with content that offend the honor and dignity of others were asked to remove the posts and commit not to repeat the offense and administratively fined VND 22.5 million. Two others were also asked to remove posts with negative contents while 4 administrators of social networking sites to remove 6 posts with negative contents. The Police also made 216 reports of violations of 9 anonymous accounts on the Facebook that regularly posted malicious and offensive contents.
