Province offers Tet gifts to workers who can’t afford to return for Tet, disseminates Covid-19 prevention

On the afternoon of January 30, Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Council together with leader of provincial Labor Union visited, offered 90 gifts to alien workers with difficult circumstances at Shyang Hung Cheng Company in Thuan An city.

At the event, he praised the company’s Trade Union for its efforts in taking care of the spiritual and material lives of laborers over the past time. On the occasion of the New Year 2021, he wished the company more successes while wanting that it will further take good care of laborers, contributing to the local development. He also wished the company’s laborers a joyful and happy new year.

*Provincial Support Center for Young Workers, on January 31, visited, donated Tet gifts to needy workers and disseminated Covid-19 prevention, control among them.

Accordingly, the center realized a “Beloved “banh tet” (round glutinous rice cake)” program with 500 “tet” cakes offered to workers who can’t afford to return home for Tet. With the support of Becamex IDC, the center gave 100 gifts for needy workers; continued mobilizing donors to offer gifts to needy workers on the occasion of the Tet festival 2021.

The center also donated gifts from provincial People’s Committee to heads of clubs “connecting young workers”; disseminated Covid-19 prevention and control, offered 5,000 face masks to clubs “connecting young workers”; propagandized and mobilized young workers from localities hit by Covid-19 pandemic to stay in Binh Duong for Tet.

*The same day, Tan Uyen town’s Youth Union coordinated with Tan Phuoc Khanh ward to offer gifts to workers who can’t afford to return home for Tet.

Accordingly, the town’s Youth Union offered 4 gifts to young workers and 4 others to needy workers ‘offspring in the ward; donated 25 gifts worth VND250,000 each to young workers with difficult circumstances; awarded 16 “lighting dreams” scholarships worth VND300,000 each to Youth Union members, pupils and children with difficult circumstances.
