Provincial leaders receive Indian Consulate General

Early September 11, Tran Van Nam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly delegation had a working session with Smita Pant, India’s ongoing Consulate General in HCM city.

Mr.Nam applauded Mrs.Smita Pant’s visit while informing her of the local highlights in socio-economic development, especially in FDI attraction over the past time. He asserted: “Binh Duong is proud of being the only locality of Vietnam without poor households under the central poverty line. The province has also always created the best conditions for FDI businesses, including Indian ones, to make investment and expand production”. He also wanted that Mrs.Smita Pant will continue popularizing the local investment climate and calling for more Indian businesses to make investment herein.

Mrs.Smita Pant expressed her wish that Binh Duong will further create favorable conditions for Indian businesses to make investment and expand production. The province was also invited to India in order to learn about the country’s investment climate.

*On the morning of the same day, Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee also received Smita Pant, India’s ongoing Consulate General in HCM city.

Mr.Nam presented a souvenir gift to her while saying that Binh Duong will organize a delegation to visit India and learn about the country’s investment climate, aiming to strengthen relations between Binh Duong and India in particular and between Vietnam and India in general.
