Provincial-level leaders and administrators to participate in Covid-19 prevention and control

On the afternoon of September 9, Binh Duong Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control held a ceremony to deploy a force of provincial leaders and administrators to participate in pandemic prevention and control. Attending the ceremony were Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Van Loc, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Committee for Mass Mobilization, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Minh Thuy, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of Provincial Party Organization Board; and leaders of departments, branches, districts, towns and cities.

The force consisted of 30 leaders and officials of provincial-level departments, branches, and political organizations that are allocated to 15 blockaded localities in Thuan An City, Di An City and Tan Uyen Town. The provincial leaders and officials will support the localities in directing, administering, urging the implementation of disease prevention and control, and timely reporting information to Provincial Party Standing Committee, Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, especially taking care of social security, statistics, review, giving gifts and support money, food, necessities to people in need; the work of vaccination against Covid-19 for the whole population, mass testing...

Speaking at the ceremony, Nguyen Hoang Thao praised the voluntary spirit of provincial leaders and administrators. He also asked provincial leaders and officials to do their best, use their full capacity, and stick closely with the localities throughout the disease prevention and control process; go down to and integrate with the grassroots level to understand their situation and provide timely assistance to make a practical contribution to soon returning the province to a new normal condition.
