Provincial retired officials updated with revised Land Law 2024

On March 3, Binh Duong provincial Retiree Club collaborated with the provincial Bar Association to organize a legal briefing session to update and disseminate legal documents to nearly 300 officials and members of the provincial Retiree Club.

At the session, the provincial Bar Association's presenter updated and disseminated the latest legal documents effective from the beginning of 2024, with focus on updating and disseminating the new provisions of the Land Law 2024 that was recently enacted on January 18, 2024 officially by the 15th National Assembly. The Land Law of 2024 comprehensively institutionalises the principles and policies of the CPV, resolutions of the National Assembly while addressing the issues identified through the evaluation of practical implementation in organising the enforcement of the Land Law 2013 and legalizing provisions that had been demonstrated to be appropriate as well.

The rapporteur has addressed the queries of the delegates while mentioning that the Land Law 2024 introduces several new points, notably, the focus on specific issue groups of land allocation without auction, ensured land fund for implementing land policies for ethnic minorities, reduced intermediaries in land allocation and leasing.
