Provincial Youth Federation awarded the second-class Labor Medal

Late January 29, provincial Youth Federation held a ceremony to receive the second-class Labor Medal, review its activities in 2014 and implement tasks through 2015.

 On behalf of the State President, Tran Van Nam, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee awarding the second-class Labor Medal to provincial Youth Federation

Attending the event were Tran Van Nam, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; Nguyen Huu Tu, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee; Vice-Chairmen of provincial People’s Committee; Nguyen Anh Tuan, Secretary of the Youth Union’s Central Committee together with leaders of sectors in the province.

Youth movements in the province obtained some considerable results over the past five years. Provincial Youth Federation made contributions to building 80 houses of compassion worth more than VND2.8bln; organized more than 250 social-charity trips to remote regions; helped youngsters in economic development with more than VND4.5bln…

With the above achievements, provincial Youth Federation was awarded the third-class Labor Medal of the State President. Three individuals was also awarded the certificates of merit of the Prime Minister.

Provincial Youth Union also reported that last year, the local Youth Union task, teenagers and children’ movements reached positive results in all aspects, especially in mobilizing a large number of pupils and students to get involved in voluntary activities for the sake of national islands and border areas…

In 2015, provincial Youth Union will focus on education of political ideology and law among teenagers and children; hold voluntary activities for socio-economic development; made diversification in the task of gathering youngsters…

Addressing the event, Mr.Tu spoke highly of achievements done by provincial Youth Union. He stressed: “In the coming time, provincial Youth Union needs to improve its activities in both form and content; uphold young people’s voluntary spirit; speed up a task of uniting and gathering young people, especially young workers…for better results”.
