On the occasion of the Vietnam Day for People with Disibilities (April 18), provincial Sponsoring Association for the Disabled, Orphans and Poor Patients organized a series of significant activities for the disabled, orphans and poor patients across the province, including building 3 houses of compassion, gave away 820 gifts, providing free medical check-ups, medicine and gifts for 1,366 disabled people; providing cataract surgery for 100 disabled and poor people… 

Provincial Sponsoring Association for the Disabled, Orphans and Poor Patients in collaboration with provincial Nursing and Rehabilitation Hospital has just provided free medical check-ups and medicine for the disabled in TDM city’s Phu My ward

To implement the above significant activities, provincial Sponsoring Association for the Disabled, Orphans and Poor Patients over time received attention and support from donors, companies, collectives and indivividuals filled with compassion. Particularly, provincial Nursing and Rehibilitation Hospital provided free medical check-ups for 1,366 people with disibilities. Thanh Le Import Export and Trading One-Member Co.Ltd. also donated 13,660 kg of rice to the association; Binh Duong Lottery Co., VND21.3mln; TDM city-based Chinese Community, VND20mln; Binh Duong Forestry Product and General Import Export Corporation (Genimex), VND50mln; the family of Pham Ngoc Son in Thuan An town’s Hung Dinh commune, VND30mln; provincial Businesswomen’s Club, VND30mln; Ly Ngoc Dung, Deputy Director of Minh Long I Porcelain Co.Ltd. cum Deputy Head of provincial Businesswomen’s Club, VND30mln; Minh Dung Veterinary - Aquaculture Medicine Ltd.Co., 500 gifts worth VND100mln…

Nguyen Van Nam, Chairman of provincial Sponsoring Association for the Disabled, Orphans and Poor Patients said: “For 2013’s orientations and tasks, provincial Sponsoring Association for the Disabled, Orphans and Poor Patients will mobilize organizations and individuals to subscribe VND3bln to its fund for social charity activities, including providing cataract surgery for 200 people; presenting 200 bicycles, 200 scholarships to orphans, giving away 80 wheelingchairs; building and donating 10 households of compassion, implement a program on livelihood support in 2 pilot communes for new rural construction program, providing free medical check-ups and medicine for 2,000 people. Hence, the association wants to further receive support from donors to be able to fulfill its plan in 2013”.
