Smart city project backed by programs in 2018

In the afternoon of February 2, at Eastern International University, Mai Hung Dung, member of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee cum permanent Deputy Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee and Executive Head of Binh Duong Smart City chaired a conference summing up activities for smart city in 2017 with attendance of Peter Portheine, the Brainport Development Director of Holland.

In 2017, Binh Duong has successfully organized smart city conference as per contents, agenda and time schedule, vitally contributing to Binh Duong Smart City Project for the time to come. Binh Duong Smart City Conference 2017 was organized on November 27, 2017 with attendance of 1,300 delegates, including partners from Intelligent Community Forum (ICF), Holland, local authority, and consultancy council. At the summing-up conference, plans for 2018 were discussed and agreed upon including major projects of school-enterprise-authority cooperation, smart logistical traffic, smart community forum, smart lighting, semi-conduction industry, industrial and technological zones, events, construction of center for innovation of Binh Duong, and registration for ICF.

Addressing the conference, Dung directed the major projects selected from 21 projects proposed by departments to be forwarded and stressed on the preparation for events in 2018.
