Southeastern localities focus on well implementing the Politburo’s Resolution No. 24-NQ/TW

Early March 28, a conference to summarize the implementation of Southeastern provinces’ emulation agreement in 2023 and sign the cluster’s emulation agreement in 2024 was held in Binh Phuoc province. The event was attended by Nguyen Dinh Khang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Vice-Chairman of the Central Emulation and Commendation Council; Nguyen Manh Cuong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Binh Phuoc provincial Party Committee; leaders of 7 localities in the Southeastern region. For Binh Duong province, there was Nguyen Van Danh, Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee.

At the conference, delegates heard reports about outstanding results in emulation work in 2023. The localities implemented many solutions to promote disbursement of public investment capital. Some localities, namely Binh Duong, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Tay Ninh..., achieved the high disbursement rate of public investment capital, exceeding the plan assigned by the Prime Minister, with 157.73%,144.43%,116, 9%, respectively.

Representatives of provincial leaders said that the localities are currently promoting the implementation of the National Assembly Standing Committee's resolution on arranging district and commune-level administrative units for the period of 2023-2030 while focusing on implementing a plan on digital transformation plan for the period of 2021-2025, with an orientation to 2030...

At the conference, the localities signed an emulation contract in 2024, with the determination of well carrying out key tasks, focusing on well implementing the Politburo’s Resolution No. 24-NQ/TW on socio- economic development and assurance of national defense - security in the Southeastern region until 2030, with a vision to 2045. The localities will attach special importance to focus on innovating growth models associated with modern economic structure, taking "digital economy, sharing economy, green economy, circular economy" as the focus and driving force for development.

In addition, the localities will continue strongly promoting the revolutionary historical tradition, culture and self-reliance spirit of the "hard-working-but- heroic East" in sustainable socio-economic development.
