Students participate in propagation of prevention and control of injuries and drowning

On June 2, Youth Union of Phu Giao District in cooperation with Education Training Office held a propagation contest on preventing and fighting injuries and drowning in the district in the school year 2021 - 2022.

Each team had 5 members, staged a skit to propagate the following matters: the meaning and necessity of injury prevention and control; school violence; prevention of drowning and child abuse; role of Youth Propagation Teams in communication to educate and raise awareness of injury prevention, limit child abuse... The maximum time per skit was 10 minutes.

The Youth Propagation Competition on the prevention and control of injuries and drowning is an annual activity coordinated and maintained by the District Youth Union and HYPO Council to establish youth propagation teams in schools and play an active role in strengthening propagation of the prevention of injuries and drowning for children.

It is also a healthy and rewarding playground for children, helps them understand and realize the meaning and necessity of preventing accidents, injuries and drowning, so that children know how to protect themselves, prevent and avoid dangers around them.

At the end of the competition, the Organizing Board awarded 8 prizes for primary schools, 4 awards for junior high schools.
