Supermarkets excel at stockpiling essential commodities to combat Covid-19

On February 12, provincial Department of Industry and Trade (DoIT) had a working session with some supermarkets about their situation of stockpiling essential commodities amid complicated development of Covid-19 epidemic disease.

The result of the inspection tour showed that two supermarkets, namely Co.opmart Binh Duong 1 and Big C have actively prepared abudant supply of essential commodities at people’s demand for shopping. At the working session, Ho Van Binh, Deputy Director of provincial DoIT required supermarkets to continue being proactive to make their plans on goods distribution under the appropriate forms; mobilized enterprises to carry out reasonable policies in taking care of laborers, helping them keep their mind on work, ensure supply of food in urgent cases…

Provincial DoIT will further work with Lotte, Vinmart and some traditional markets in the next few days.
