Tan Uyen’s youth actively join summer volunteer campaign for social welfare

Together with the youth of the entire country, youth in Tan Uyen district have motivated the 2011 summer youth volunteer campaign by many activities for the sake of the community. With the motto of “Each youth, each Youth Union should stick to a volunteer deed”, this year’s campaign will be the change for the youth of the heroic war zone D to make contributions to building of a prosperous and nice homeland.

A ceremony to launch the 2011 summer youth volunteer campaign took place animatedly in Tan Uyen district on July 17.

 The local youth participating in the ceremony clamorously shouted the slogan of “Tan Uyen’s youth act for the sake of social welfare” when the drum beat to launch the campaign resounded. This has expressed the volunteer spirit and determination to fulfill the tasks of the local youth during the 2011 summer campaign.

Tan Uyen district’s volunteer youth squad to keep traffic order and safety gets launched

The summer youth volunteer campaign in Tan Uyen has seen as an indispensible campaign of the local youth after five-year implementation.

 Under the spirit of the “Binh Duong’s youth study and follow Uncle Ho’s teachings” campaign together with provincial projects of “Gathering and unitizing young workers between 2011 and 2015”, “Improving legal knowledge for youth”…, Tan Uyen district’s Youth Union will focus on three main activities: “For a modern and civilized Tan Uyen”, “For youth’s development”…during the 2011 summer campaign.

Accordingly, 22 volunteer youth groups will be established to take part in social activities-protecting the environment, disseminating laws to people, helping ensure traffic order – and various culture, education and health care-related activities…

 The district’s Steering Board for the 2011 summer youth volunteer campaign will also team up with the local Board for Traffic Safety to set up a volunteer youth group to make the youth work of “The youth’s self management road” with a total expense of more than VND133mln.

 After the launching ceremony, the local youth actively got involved in making environmental hygiene and many other significant activities. Twenty-two local Youth Unions have also begun realizing youth works during the 2011 summer campaign…
