In the morning of June 21, the Election Commission of Phu Giao district held a conference to review the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly Delegation and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 tenure.

According to the assessment, the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly Delegation and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 tenure in the district took place successfully. The district has elected enough National Assembly deputies and 3 members of the provincial People's Council according to the structure and composition as prescribed. Voters in the district have also elected 31 members of the district People's Council and 294 members of the People's Councils of 11 communes and townships. As of 20:29 of May 23, 2021, the percentage of voters in the district participating in voting reached 100%.

Concluding the conference, Mr. Doan Van Dong, Deputy Secretary of the district Party Committee cum Chairman of the district People's Committee and Chairman of the district Election Commission, suggested that in the coming time, Party committees and authorities at all levels should focus on implementation of steps and procedures for organizing the first meeting of the 5th district People's Council and the People's Councils of 11 communes and townships to consolidate the leadership positions of the People's Councils and People's Committees at all levels for the 2021-2026 tenure according to law. For the elected delegates, it is necessary to concretize their action plans to fulfill the responsibilities and powers of the people's deputies and make positive contributions to the well-fulfillment of the local political duties.

On this occasion, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 4 collectives and 20 individuals. Chairman of the provincial Election Commission presented certificates of merit to 14 collectives and 30 individuals of outstanding achievements in organizing the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly Delegation and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 tenure and many others in the district.
