The project of “Boosting young worker gathering at boarding houses” has gone into the final stage and reached significant results. Nguyen Thanh Lam- head of Young Worker Society No.2 in Binh Thuan hamlet, Thuan Giao commune, Thuan An district:

As a dynamic youth, he has made greater efforts to learn about lodgers’ aspiration to gather them. After 3 years of involving in the work, he has now become a typical head, dynamic secretary of communal youth union.

He has positively joined in conducting significant deeds of granting gifts to poor young workers, exchanging with clubs and subsocieties, promulgating the mobilization of “Vietnamese youths follow Uncle Ho’s teachings”, urging members to excel the Party and State’s policies and laws…

Ngo Thi Thanh Thao- head of Young Worker Sub-Society in Hoa Loi commune, Ben Cat district:   

From the Mekong province of Can Tho, Thao has lived and worked at the province for 10 years. With efforts for local movements, under encouragement of the commune youth union’s executive board and young workers, she has involved in lodgers’ subsociety since 2006.

She has positively joined in good deeds of offering gifts to poor young workers, counseling laws for youths and so on. She was awarded merit certificates for 2 consecutive years.

Tran Van Trung – boarding house proprietor in Thuan An district’s An Thanh township:

From 29 boarding rooms in the first days, he has developed over 231 rooms with the capacity of over 800 lodgers. Most of his lodgers have stable jobs at IPs. With friendliness, he is respected by young workers.

Aside from business, he has involved in local charity activities. Specifically, in 2008 he donated VND50mil to local charity movements, VND50mil in rural road making and granted 20 scholarships to good students of Trinh Hoai Duc high school. Recently, he raised more VND60mil to build 3 hi-unity houses for the poor.

In addition, his boarding house held many activities of granting Tet gifts to the poor, supporting welfare funds and cooperating with local youth union to offer healthy playgrounds for young workers.
