Unity and gathering of youths through practical activities

Implementing the Project "Unity, gathering youth workers and young laborers in Binh Duong province for the period 2021-2025", in 2024, localities in the province focus on organizing practical activities, continuing to implement the project into the lives of youth workers and laborers.

Supporting workers

To take care of and support young worker youth, the Steering Committee of the "Solidarity Project for Gathering Young Workers and Youth Workers in Binh Duong Province for the period 2021-2025" has issued a plan, providing direction for the Organizing Committee at all levels to focus on organizing practical activities. In which, the education issue is noted by the Steering Committee of the provincial project to create conditions, mobilize, support to the maximum, ensure that children of young workers all have the opportunity to go to school, the dropout rate must be reduced to a minimum; at the same time, coordinate with local authorities to organize points or classes of love for children of young workers, difficult workers to participate in learning.

Youth Union of Phu Loi ward in Thu Dau Mot city sets up model of humane houses for rent

To contribute to achieving the above goal, the Youth Union of Phu Loi Ward (Thu Dau Mot City) has just collaborated with the Ward People's Committee to organize the introduction of the model "Future Seedling Nursery Class - Olympia". The class is for children of workers, disadvantaged laborers, ethnic minority children living in boarding houses to participate in learning. The class organization still teaches foreign languages, informatics, and extracurricular activities to create a really good environment for the students. The class has operating regulations and volunteers who always enhance the sense of responsibility with a loving heart for the children, encouraging them to attend class regularly. The established class will maximize the cultural facilities in the local area and spread the spirit of love for children in difficult circumstances who do not have the opportunity to go to school.

In 2024, the care for the children of workers continues to be implemented by the Organizing Committee of the project at all levels in coordination with various sectors and organizations. Specifically, this includes educational programs, life skills training, water safety skills, accident prevention, and protection against abuse for children in dormitories and residential areas. Along with that, the Organizing Committee of the project at all levels and sectors, organizations, and unions will mobilize organizations and individuals to award scholarships, provide health insurance cards, and create conditions to take care of spiritual life through cultural activities, building recreational areas, entertainment in parks in the area.

Construction of great lifestyle

One of the essential contents to propagate to workers is orientation, mobilization to enhance spirit, civic responsibility, and awareness of a beautiful lifestyle. The propaganda content will create changes in perception and build cultural life in young workers and laborers.

With that important meaning, the Youth Union, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hiep Thanh Ward in Thu Dau Mot city has just organized a specialized activity to join hands in building a civilized lifestyle, green city in rental housing areas. During the activity, workers living in dormitories actively discussed and debated issues related to cultural lifestyle, urban civilization, building a "green city," a "trash-free city," and focusing on implementing practical solutions regarding the time and location suitable for the unique characteristics of the dormitory area. The content of the activities has emphasized the role of tenants and landlords in jointly participating in waste management, creating a green, clean, and beautiful living environment to ensure the quality of life.

In addition to propaganda forms, through models such as "Compassionate boarding houses", "Green boarding houses", "Model boarding houses", "Dream rooms", local Youth Union organizations have mobilized boarding house owners and young workers to clean and classify waste at the source, create green spaces in their living areas. These models foster solidarity, mutual assistance in times of difficulty, mutual affection, and the building of a cultural lifestyle in boarding houses.

At the same time, the Organizing Committee of the localities and sectors, organizations also regularly enhance the dissemination of many practical legal contents to workers in dormitories to orient, build awareness of living and acting according to the Constitution, laws. On the other hand, through the activities of the youth union, the organization, the Project Organizing Committee at grassroots level and various sectors, organizations will continue to enhance propaganda activities for young workers on building a traffic culture, behavioral culture; raising awareness of responsibility towards oneself, family and community; having a spirit of self-study, self-improvement, self-establishment; thereby contributing to building a happy life and prosperous society.
