Unity to improve effectiveness of woodwork sector

Holding the good competence of labor supply and outstanding product quality with reasonable prices, the fields of woodwork for exportation and importation in Vietnam have affirmed their roles int global markets. Following the enterprises nation wide, in 2015 and the next years, the woodwork sector has gained great achievements for the unity to share up opportunities and challenges for the deeper integration into global economy.

The markets signal delight signals

Mr. Pham Van Xo, Director of Binh Duong Provincial Exporter Club, informed of unity among enterprises in the face of challenges in 2014 to promote production and business. Enterprises have remarkably joined up to gain achievements by year end. With preparation for 2015, they are ready for new achievements.

“In general, enterprises have been aiming for controlling the technology in designing new models for customers’ orders to improve the added value to the products,” said Mr. Pham Van Xo on evaluating the preparation of enterprises.

Being delighted without subjective evalutation, Mr. Vo Hong Khanh, in charge of Labor Union of Binh Duong Production, Importation and Exportation Co. Ltd., said with precautions: “Global economy is bright at the moment as the Europr is passing through its stress and US economy is delightful. Japan is recovering without much forces. Thus, the market penetration requires much cautions to ensure new competition in the market. It is best to concentrate on improvement of quality and production efficiency.”

Opportunities and challenges

Mr. Huynh Quang Thanh, Chair of Woodwork Processing of Binh Duong Province (Bifa) made his own analysis: “New challenges and opportunities are open for the growth as the purchase orders have been transited to new challenges and gains. And the woodwork sector has been of great opportunities.”

Pointing out the challenges, Mr. Huynh Quang Thanh said: “Thanks to the measures proposed by the enterprises, enterprises in the new market of South Africa, South Africa, and Middle East, exporting enterprises in Vietnam have affirmed the positions in the global market. Besides, the care of leadership of enterprises have created creativity of Vietnamese exporting enterprises. We have affirmed the position of international market for Vietnamese brand-name as the leaders of the enterprises for Vietnamese leadership.”

Beside the challenge and advantages of enterprises, foreign and domestic enterprises have made great beneficiary achievements of competition for Certification of Original to earn the challenge benefits under consideration of State-own enterprises.

Unity of promotion

To gain the achievements of woodwork sector and sustainable matters of Binh Duong Provincial woodwork sector, Ms. Do Thi Kim Loan, General Director of Sao Nam Corporation in South Tan Uyen District affirmed of multi-functional materials for decoration and cost saving investment as member to US member of woodboard association. We have conditions to evaluate about 10 production forms of Vietnamese enterprises.

Talking about the unity for development, Bifa Chair, Mr. Huynh Quang Thanh affirmed that the devotion has been expressively made by executive organizers for the woodwork community achievements. It is particularly that 10 to 15% of the costs has been saved as the program has been approved by International Labor Organization and Bifa is beneficiary.”
