According to Department of Industry and Trade, domestic timber processing for exports enterprises are struggling for raw materials because many enterprises from China are purchasing raw materials from Binh Duong and Dong Nai, causing sky-rocketing price.The cause of this situation is due to the fact that processed raw materials such as wood planks, wood grafting floor are beneficiary of 0% tax rate when exported to China as the refined products. Therefore, Chinese enterprises are willing to buy these products at high prices, causing difficulties for the export of timber processing enterprises in Binh Duong.In the face of this situation, the Department of Industry and Trade has proposed the Ministry of Industry and Trade, General Department of Customs to consider and review the effects of timber tax rate of 0% in export clearance to identify refined wood products or wood purified material to determine the correct taxable products, and to aime at stabilizing markets of wood materials, solving problems for enterprises.
