Work on upgrading 7A street inaugurated

Provincial People’s Committee has just held a ceremony to open to traffic of the expanded 7A street invested by provincial Projects Management Board.

The section runs from Do bridge to Rach Bap three-way crossroads of 7,567 meters plus other lines to Phu Thu crossroads and An Lap crossroads belonging to An Dien junction with a total length of more than 8,518 meters. With six lanes, it allows vehicles of 10 tons to travel at 60 kilometers per hour and is sufficiently equipped with water drainage, verdure and lighting systems. Up to this time, its total expense is estimated at VND584.3bln from State budget.

Addressing the ceremony, provincial People’s Committee Vice-Chairman Nguyen Thanh Liem stressed: “Putting the expanded 7A street into use not only brings a civilized and modern image to Ben Cat town, but also contributes to forming up an East-West avenue connecting main streets like Highway No.13, DT748 street, DT744 street. It also plays an important role in Dau Tieng district and Ben Cat town’s socio-economic development; is of great significance for people in Ben Cat town in particular and the whole province’s traffic system in general…”

He also asked for provincial Projects Management Board and construction units to urgently make procedures fulfilling the work and hand over it to the People’s Committee of Ben Cat town for management.
