Administrative measures released; postponement continues against activities of crowded people

February 26, Binh Duong provincial People’s Committee issued Document number 757/UBND-VX on implementing measures of Covid-19 prevention and control in the new stage.

Accordingly, it is required that localities are absolutely not subjective, neglected, and off guard in epidemic prevention and control by keeping on strengthening the dissemination of measures to prevent and control epidemics and strictly dealing with the acts of misleading news. At the same time, they must not overly impose administrative management measures that limit local socio-economic activities.

Binh Duong provincial People's Committee requires that depending on the actual situation of localities administrative management measures are to be loosened to facilitate the development of economic activities and goods circulation of production, security and order. However, it is still necessary to ensure measures for epidemic prevention and control corresponding to the risks of epidemic infection in the province. Online meetings and conferences using technology are recommended.

The localities continue to suspend the activities of crowded people, unnecessary and non-essential service establishments such as bars, gyms, beauty facilities, massage, karaoke, discotheques, etc. Particularly for commercial, service, wholesale and retail establishments, hotels, accommodation establishments, restaurants, sports facilities, monuments, and landscapes shall be reopened but measures to prevent and control epidemics such as providing protective equipment for staff, measuring body temperature for guests, arranging adequate supplies of hand sanitizer at the facility and distancing assurance when contact must be fully implemented.

Binh Duong provincial People's Committee also requested the Steering Committee for the Prevention and Control of Covid-19 in localities to mobilize temples, churches, and worshiping areas among others to suspend festival activities and gatherings of people. Department of Education and Training actively coordinates with the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to continue with relevant units to guide educational and training institutions and vocational education schools in the province to strictly comply with safety conditions for pupils, students, and teachers on getting back to school. The health sector coordinates with units and localities in implementing disease control under the direction of the central government, the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Health on a four-spot requirements, taking the initiative in epidemic prevention and control activities in the locality by the motto that human health and life are first and well implement the 5K message of Ministry of Health.
