Binh Duong is flexible in sports-tourism development

Doan Ngoc Xuan, Head of the Central Economic Commission’s Social Affairs made the statement at a working session with provincial Department of Culture-Sports and Tourism about the local sports and tourism development held on the afternoon of September 17.

The working session focused on discussing the Project on “Sports economic development in the new context” and “Supervising the implementation of the Politburo’s Resolution No.08-NQ/TW dated January 1, 2017 on developing tourism into a spearhead economic sector’.

For the above project, the province paid more attention to building material facilities at people’s demand for sports. The province also encouraged, created favorable conditions for units, individuals to construct sports playgrounds and organize international and regional tournaments…In addition, the province attached special importance to high achievement sports and won prizes in this field.

Whilst, the province now has a lot of tourism sites, welcoming millions of visitors every year. The province has also set up projects, programs and organized conferences, seminars, aiming to promote the local tourism.

At the working session, Mr.Xuan and his delegation also acknowledged petitions, difficulties by the province in the process of realizing the project and the decision. They will be submitted into the Politburo for solution policies in the coming time.
