Binh Phuoc and Quang Binh people support Binh Duong in the fight against the pandemic

On July 19, Party Committee, authorities and people of Binh Phuoc province sent numerous goods to share difficulties with Binh Duong people in the fight against the Covid-19.

With the spirit of "Binh Phuoc sends love, together with Binh Duong overcome the pandemic", this time Binh Phuoc province sent to Binh Duong province 11 tons of fresh pork and chicken, 20,000 eggs, 24 tons of vegetables, fruits and cashew nuts to support people in epidemic areas. Goods and foods supported by CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company, businesses, cooperatives and farms of Binh Phuoc province were sent to people in Binh Duong.

Fresh foods supported by Binh Phuoc province are transferred to people in Di An city.

l Overcoming a journey of more than 1,000km, on July 20, a truck carrying goods sent by people in Son Thuy commune, Le Thuy district, Quang Binh province arrived at a gathering place of provincial Red Cross Society on 30/4 Street, Phu Hoa Ward, Thu Dau Mot City.

Vo Van Thong, Chairman of Fatherland Front Committee of Son Thuy commune, said that with the spirit of mutual affection, Son Thuy commune called on people in villages and hamlets to contribute what they have to support and share some of the difficulties with Binh Duong people during social distancing time. This call received the support and active participation of majority people. Each family, each person contributed something, big or small, to send to Binh Duong. The total amount of goods contributed by people of Son Thuy commune this time was 7.5 tons, worth about 115 million VND.

Nguyen Thi Le Trinh, Chairwoman of Binh Duong Provincial Red Cross, said that this were precious contributions of Party Committee, government and people of Binh Phuoc and Quang Binh provinces to Binh Duong province during the epidemic time. In addition to resources contributed by provinces and cities throughout the country, this support will help Binh Duong province take better care of lives of people affected by the epidemic, soon defeat the Covid-19.
