Propagandize laws on gender equality and violence prevention in 2019

Tan Uyen Town has just coordinated with the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs to organize a training course to propagate and disseminate legal knowledge on gender equality (gender equality) and prevention of violence on the basis of gender in 2019 for about 160 women who are cadres, presidents, vice chairmen of grassroots associations, chairmen, vice chairmen, team leaders, deputy leaders and core members of women in 12 communes and wards.

At the conference, delegates were disseminated knowledge about the law against domestic violence (domestic violence); Gender Equality Law; At the same time, provide and share skills to prevent violence against women and children. Thereby, the women exchanged and expressed their opinions around the issue of prevention and control of domestic violence and gender equality, in order to raise awareness and limit the situation of domestic violence and gender equality in the town.

Previously, the Tan Uyen Town Women's Union also organized a propaganda training course to disseminate legal knowledge on gender equality and prevention and control of gender-based violence in 2019 for core cadres and members of Chi Women's Union of motel workers in Uyen Hung, Tan Hiep, Tan Vinh Hiep and Hoi Nghia. Through training courses to consolidate basic knowledge, skills on prevention of domestic violence, gender equality, thereby helping to propagandize and mobilize women members at branches and associations; in response to the Action Month for Gender Equality and Domestic Violence Prevention and Control in the town with the topic "Ending violence against women and children" of the Women's Union of Tan Uyen Town.
