Youth work effectively implemented

Under the Resolution of the 11^th National Youth Union congress for the 2017-2022 tenure, provincial Youth Union has set major tasks, solutions; concretized contents in line with the local conditions and continued effectively realizing youth work.

In the 2017-2022 tenure, provincial Youth Union will focus on education and set up a plan on the realization of the Project on “Improving education of revolutionary ideology, morality and cultural lifestyle among adolescents and children for the period of 2018-2022”, the Directive No.42-CT/TW dated March 24, 2015 of the Secretariat of the CPV Central Committee on “Strengthening the Party’s leadership over education of revolutionary ideology, morality and cultural lifestyle among adolescents and children for the period of 2015-2030”; strive to have 100% of Youth Union members, officials and 80% of youths studying the Party and Youth Union’s resolutions.

Outstanding pupils honored at the “When I’m 18” festival

Provincial Youth Union has set annual special subjects “Studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle” for Youth Union officials, members, adolescents and children in association with well implementing a campaign of “building the model of Vietnamese youths in the new period”. Particularly, provincial Youth Union and its branches have continued maintaining effective models, namely “Diary, golden book following Uncle Ho’s example”, “Uncle Ho and children bookstore”…

Provincial Youth Union is expected to organize a political meeting under the theme of “Nho ve Bac-Long ta trong sang hon” on the occasion of the 130^th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh and the 50^th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s testament and the 70th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's call for patriotic emulation. Besides, provincial Youth Union will further implement a program on “Lighting the dreams of Vietnamese youths”, organize a ceremony honoring advanced youths in following Uncle Ho’s teachings at all levels every two years…Provincial Youth Union and its branches will also organize forums, talk shows, festivals disseminating revolutionary songs, “return-to-the root” journeys, activities “paying debt of gratitude”; restore cultural-historical relics and uphold their values…

For better propaganda work, provincial Youth Union will effectively carry out a task of composing and issuing printed matters on education for adolescents and children; organized propaganda activities. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Xuan, Secretary of provincial Youth Union said that provincial Youth Union will effectively realize a project on “Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union takes part in new rural construction for the period of 2018-2022” and a program on “Binh Duong’s youths take part in new rural construction” ; organize training courses on sci-tech transfer for young officials, Youth Union members; actively mobilize Youth Union members to get involved in protecting the environment, planting green trees, building new rural areas…; disseminate civilized lifestyle among Youth Union members and people.

Such these apart, provincial Youth Union will implement a project on “Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union takes part in protecting the environment, combating climate change for the period of 2018-2022”, a program named “For a green Vietnam”’; map out a plan on planting 30 million green trees and establish volunteer squads on administrative reform and social welfare. Provincial Youth Union and its branches will also join hands with units to organize volunteer programs for the sake of the community; hold programs accompanying youths in studying, setting up their position in life and themselves in business; pay more attention to activities of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization, give good care for adolescents and children…
