60 scholarships given for poor-but-excellent pupils in Phu Giao

Phu Giao district’s Red Cross Society held a ceremony to mark the 147th anniversary of International Red Cross and Red Crescent Day (May 8, 1863-May 8, 2010).
Upholding the tradition of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent movement, Phu Giao district’s Red Cross Society over time actively mobilized all walks of life to subscribe tens of billions of dong to help needy people via humanitarian and charitable programs. On this occasion, the society also granted 60 scholarships worth VND250mln each to poor-but-excellent pupils across the district.
