Early May 11, Tan Uyen district held a conference highlighting outstanding individuals in the local voluntary blood donation.

The whole district now has 29 steering boards for voluntary blood donation with 203 members, 27 voluntary blood donation squads and 22 reserve voluntary donation squads with 925 members. Thanks to the education work well implemented, the district absorbs hundreds of people to give blood annually. The district last year collected 669 units of blood, or 95.6% of the set target.

On this occasion, the district’s People’s Committee also awarded the certificates of merit to 91 individuals who gave blood many times.
