Provincial Youth Unions at all levels have promoted a movement of “accompanying youths in establishing their position in life, themselves in business” and reaped practical results. The movement has helped the local youngsters get more conditions in order to study and uphold their strength in economic development.

Tran Van Yen in TDM city’s Hiep An ward is one of business start-up youths supported by provincial Youth Unions at all levels during the process of “establishing their position in life, themselves in business”. And he has reached initial success with a model of growing safe vegetables in the net house of 3,500 square meters in Hiep An ward’s quarter 2 in TDM city.

Currently, Yen can earn the month income of between VND10million and VND15million from his safe vegetable garden. He intends to expand his safe vegetable garden while making transfer on experience and techniques for this model for other youths who have business start-up demand.

Defining the movement of “accompanying youths in establishing their position in life, themselves in business” is one of major tasks by the Youth Union, thereby promoting emulation movements among youths, provincial Youth Union has instructed its branches to focus on realizing many concrete support programs in many fields for youths…

Over the past five years, provincial Youth Unions at all levels accompanied the local youths in study by many forms. Their study emulation got better through emulation movements, namely “When I’m 18”, “Five-good student”…In the last tenure, provincial Youth Unions at all levels awarded “young talent”, “Doan Thi Lien”, “Ho Van Men” prizes together with “DTL-Lighting dreams of students in Binh Duong” and “giving strength to school” scholarships…to nearly 8,000 poor Youth Union members, pupils and students with good academic results with a total value of approximately VND 9billion.

Provincial Youth Unions at all levels also continued well realizing a Scheme on “Making universalization and improving informatics knowledge for Youth Union officials and members in the period of 2011-2015”…

Under a Scheme 103 on “Supporting youths in vocational learning and job creation” and a Scheme on “Youth development, support and consulting office for the period of 2016-2020”, provincial Youth Unions at all levels joined hands with relevant units to engage new activities in vocational orientation and job introduction, support business start-up youths…As a result, they made job consultancy and introduction for 9,726 youths; gave vocational training for 14,200 Youth Union members…

Noticeably, provincial Youth Union in the last tenure inaugurated a support center for young workers, organized a festival for young workforce; donated nearly VND200million to the local Support Fund for Alien Poor Young Workers…

To continue promoting the movement of “accompanying youths in establishing their position in life, themselves in business”, Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, Secretary of provincial Party Committee said that provincial Youth Union Standing Committee will work with provincial Youth Federation and Student Association to effectively carry out a program on “supporting business start-up youths” for the period of 2018-2022; assist the local youths to get loans and effectively use them…
