Activities celebrating Vietnam Family Day to be organized

Celebrating the 15^th anniversary of Vietnam Family Day (06.28.2001 - 06.28.2016), provincial Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism has planned to organize cultural activities and exchanges between families. These activities aim to raise the whole community’s awareness of the position of the family, the Party, State’s laws and policies on family affairs; the rights and obligations of family, authorities relating to family; life skills, family life organization, building family relationships, gender equality in family, prevention of domestic violence, enhancing education effectiveness on family affairs… The theme of this year’s anniversary is “Forming Vietnamese personalities by education on family virtues and lifestyle”.

Units will economically organize practical activities in many forms with various contents to celebrating the 15^th anniversary of Vietnam Family Day. Each district, town and city forms a delegation to participate in family club contests. Family clubs were established by culture – information office of agencies, organizations, associations with 5 to 7 members each club and the objective of building prosperous, equal, advanced, and happy families.

After contests, each locality will select one club to participate in provincial exchange taking place on Jun 21 at provincial Cultural - Movies Center.
