The Support Program for the Advancement of Vietnamese Women, which is co-held by the Vietnam Women’s Union and P&G Vietnam Co., has so far disbursed a total loan of VND50mln for 25 poor women in Di An district to develop homebased business. Of the total loan, each woman got VND2mln at the low interest rate of 0.5%. Till now, most of them have effectively used the loan from the program.

This is the second consecutive year the program has been implemented in Binh Duong province. On May 7 ahead, it will disburse additional VND50mln for poor women in Di An district to develop homebased business.
