Administrative reform must be organized seriously and effectively

On the afternoon of May 4, Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation had a working session with leaders of a number of relevant departments and agencies on administrative reform, digital transformation, the implementation of the Project on developing the application of data on population, electronic identification and authentication for national digital transformation in the period of 2022-2025, with a vision to 2030 (the Project No.06); administrative reform in the Party.

At the working session, leaders of provincial Department of Home Affairs, Department of Information and Communications, Police Agency and Party Committee Office reported on the progress of implementation and difficulties, recommendations to remove obstacles in the implementation of relevant contents, with focus on solutions to improve administrative reform indexes; the issue of updating and exploiting data at the Intelligent Operation Center (IOC); the issuance of citizen identification, the pilot implementation of driving licenses integrated with electronic identification accounts under the direction of the Government...

Speaking at the working session, Mr. Loi said that these are very important fields that affect each person and each enterprise, so they must be implemented closely with the highest determination. In the process of implementation, it is necessary to define specific roles and responsibilities of each department, sector locality and unit. The units must regularly coordinate to ensure the progress of implementing the tasks under the plan, especially the administrative reform work, the implementation of the Project No.06, the project on smart camera installation; integrate and exploit data at provincial IOC... Provincial Department of Home Affairs will coordinate with relevant sectors to advise provincial People's Committee on establishing a group that is responsible for inspecting, controlling and evaluating the implementation of administrative reform, building a smart city, implementing the Project No.06..., ensuring the progress of the assigned tasks. Especially, the Government’s directives related to administrative reform, the Project 06 must be implemented strictly and effectively.
