Early March 7, Tan Uyen town’s Women’s Union organized a get-together to celebrate the 107^th anniversary of International Women’s Day (March 8, 1910-March 3, 2017) and the 1,977^th anniversary of Trung sisters’ uprising.

Following the glorious tradition of Vietnamese women, officials and members of the town’s Women’s Union have always affirmed their important role and made great contributions to the local socio-economic development. The town’s Women’s Union will continue effectively implementing movements, campaigns in association with the Politburo’s Directive No.05-CT/TW on “Acceleration of studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morals and lifestyle”; attach special importance to improving its operational quality; coordinate with sectors, communes and wards to well realize entrusted tasks, contributing to building pure, strong Party organizations and State agencies.

*The same day, North Tan Uyen district’s Women’s Union held a get-together to mark the 107^th anniversary of International Women’s Day and the 1,977^th anniversary of Trung sisters’ uprising.

Women in the district constantly upheld the fine virtues of Vietnamese women, creatively worked and studied, surmounted difficulties and helped each other in life to affirm their role in society…over the past time.

On this occasion, the district’s Women’s Union congratulated 39 members aged more than 70 on their longevity; announced and presented prizes to outstanding units at the district’s 3^rd singing competition for women 2017.
