Being proactive to combine administrative reform with digital transformation to better serve people

Early January 24, provincial People's Committee held an online conference to summarize administrative reform, digital transformation, Project No.06, smart city in 2023, deploy key directions and tasks for 2024.

The conference was attended by Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly deputy delegation; Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee.

In 2023, administrative reform and administrative procedure reform associated with digital transformation had many outstanding results, especially the transformation of online public services at levels 3, 4 into online public services qualified to perform the entire process, part of the online information provision service and qualified online public services not to accept paper documents in the province. Reviewing internal administrative procedures, building internal processes, digitizing records of administrative procedure resolution results, building eforms and making online payments; continuously removing bottlenecks and existing problems in administrative procedure reform and digital transformation through the Index set No.766 and the Administrative Reform Index... has positively contributed to the results of administrative procedure reform associated with digital transformation to serve people and businesses.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Loi requested departments, sectors and members of provincial Steering Committee for administrative reform, digital transformation, Project No.06, smart city construction (briefly called the Steering Committee) to have high political determination to successfully complete tasks on administrative reform, digital transformation, Project 06 to build a smart city; proactively combine administrative reform with digital transformation to better serve people and businesses on the digital platform, especially building shared data platforms, not only serving the whole country, but also aiming at serving internationally in the future.

Concluding the conference, Mr. Minh requested members of the Steering Committee to further strengthen leadership, direction, identify central, key tasks and prioritize investment and financial resources, equipment, human resources, operational policies and mechanisms to create the most favorable conditions for the Steering Committee to carry out its tasks of achieving more comprehensive results in all fields; strive for the results of the province's management indexes, including PAR Index, DTI, PAPI, PCI, to be in the top 10 locality in the country...

On this occasion, provincial People's Committee awarded the certificates of merit to groups and individuals with outstanding achievements in administrative reform, digital transformation, Project 06 and smart city in 2023.
