Ben Cat bends on solutions to effectively implement annual plans and tasks

Yesterday morning (April 8), provincial delegation, led by comrade Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly deputy delegation had a working session with Ben Cat town’s Party Standing Committee. Many targets on schedule

Reporting to the delegation on the situation of Ben Cat town’s socio-economic development, national defense and security; Party and political system building in the first quarter of 2024, Nguyen Trong An, Vice-Secretary of the town’s Party Committee, Chairman of the town’s People's Committee said that as of April 4, the town’s total State budget revenue reached 44% of the plan (equal to 200% compared to the same period of 2023). Noticeably, the total amount of public investment capital in 2023 disbursed until the end of January 31, 2024 was 99.61% of the assigned plan, the highest capital disbursement level since the beginning of the term. The town was also awarded the certificate of merit by provincial People's Committee for this result. The town is continuing to focus on disbursement of the 2024 public investment plan right from the beginning of the year. In the field of culture and society, the town also paid attention to well implementing regimes and policies for policy beneficiaries. Specifically, in the first quarter of 2024, the town admitted additional 65 new Party members, or 73% of the 2024 target. Since early this tenure, the town has admitted 659 Party members, reaching 94% of the target under the resolution for the 2020-2025 tenure, with national defense and security maintained. The town successfully organized the ceremony of handing over and receiving recruits in 2024, achieving 100% in quality and assigned targets. Preparing for announcing the establishment of Ben Cat city

At the meeting, the province’s departments and sectors gave their opinions on contents related to the implementation of the town's tasks in the coming time. Ben Cat town also proposed issues related to implementing tasks in the near future. Specifically, the town’s Party Standing Committee proposed the province to consider adjusting policies, projects and allocating enough capital to make compensation and site clearance for upgrading and expanding DT748 road, with the section from Phu Thu intersection to the northern belt of My Phuoc town; suggested the province to consider and approve a project on upgrading and expanding the road from DH606 to the northern belt road of My Phuoc town to create motivation for the local economic development on the basis of the approved general planning. ...

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Loi spoke highly of results done by Ben Cat town right from the first months of the year in all fields, including targets that were higher than the average, especially targets on State budget revenue reaching and exceeding the set plan.
