Binh Duong excels at social housing development

Under the Government’s Decree No.188/2013/ND-CP dated Nov.20, 2013, Binh Duong province has so far developed 34 social housing projects with total floor area of more than one million square meter, supplying accommodations for nearly 64,000 people. As of late 2015, around 200 enterprises operating at province-based industrial parks and compounds built tenements for laborers with total floor area of around 270,000 square meters.

The province’s total social housing floor area in the 2011 and 2015 period reached 1.3 million square meters, supplying accommodations for around 110,000 people. Currently, the province is also home to more than 182,000 lodging rooms with total floor area of more than 3 million square meters, catering the housing demand for more than 500,000 immigrant laborers.
