Binh Duong receives four hyperbaric chambers for COVID-19 prevention control

On March 24, at Provincial Disease Control Center, Binh Duong received 4 hyperbaric chamber donated by Vina Kraft Paper Company, a member of SCGP Packaging Company. 

The hyperbaric chamber was developed by a technician team of SCG Company (parent company) on the principle of pressure and is widely used in major hospitals in Thailand. hyperbaric chamber is to protect the medical force during patient sampling. 

At the reception, Tran Thi Kim Lan, Vice Chairwoman of Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, expressed her gratitude to Vina Kraft Paper Company and SCGP Company for supporting the COVID-19 prevention and control in the province. The equipment will be used for the right purposes. 

From beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak, Binh Duong has received more than 20 billion VND in cash, materials and equipment donated by organizations, businesses and individuals to support the epidemic prevention control works. These supports has helped the province to win the epidemic. 

Teerachai Chavapongpanit, Director of Vina Kraft Paper Company, said that this support aimed to join hands with Binh Duong province to prevent control the epidemic, protect the safety of medical staff during sampling process, and reduce spreading risk.  

It is known that, after the reception, these hyperbaric chambers will be allocated by the health sector firstly to Bau Bang District Medical Center and Ben Cat Town Medical Center. The remaining chambers will be arranged later based on actual needs.
