Binh Duong volunteers to support COVID-19 prevention and control in Soc Trang province

In the morning of December 1, the Standing Committee of Binh Duong provincial Youth’s League and the Commanding Committee of the Youth Volunteer Squad to participate in the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic in Binh Duong province held a ceremony to see off 20 volunteers supporting the prevention and control of COVID-19 epidemic in Soc Trang province.

Attending the ceremony was Mr. Nguyen Van Loc, Standing Member, Head of the provincial Committee for Mass Mobilization, Chairman of the provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee. Speaking at the departure ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Loc encouraged the Commanding Committee and volunteers to participate in the mission in Soc Trang province this time. At the same time, it is hopeful that with the youth’s enthusiasm and practical experience participating in COVID-19 prevention and control in Binh Duong during the past 4 months, the volunteers will work well with the local authority to fight the epidemic to leave good impression in the hearts of local people.

On the occasion, the provincial Standing Committee presented gifts to 20 volunteers. It is expected that 20 volunteers will support activities in Ke Sach district of Soc Trang province for 1 month.
