Building a strongly defensive Binh Duong in the new situation

Morning 13th Jan, provincial Military Command held a review meeting on works of military and defense in 2014. Major General Vo Minh Luong, who is Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of Military Zone 7; and Mr. Pham Van Canh, Deputy Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Council, attended the meeting.

In 2014, Party Committee of provincial Military Command directed the serious implementation of military directives, resolutions, plans at agencies, units, Military Commands of districts, city. Provincial army force have done well the military – defense work comprehensively on all aspects and finished all fundamental targets.

Deputy Secretary of provincial Party Committee cum provincial People’s Council’s Chairman Pham Van Canh conferre emulation flags of PPC upon leading military units.

Some outstanding achievements were: advising local Party, government, cooperating closely with authorities to strengthen measures monitoring the situation, carrying out patrols to suppress crimes, contributing to maintaining and stabilizing local social security, order and safety. Enlistment was performed seriously, achieving 100% of the target, the quality of enlisted persons improved. Party, political tasks were deployed overall and effectively; taking good care of military rear works, gratitude activities. Besides, technical works were secured to be ready for combating and training.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Pham Van Canh appreciated military achievements in 2014. To perform well military - defense tasks in 2015, Mr. Canh urged committees, commanders at all levels to improve accountability, strengthen the leadership and direction, devise specific measures to implement successfully tasks; execute seriously directives, plans being ready for combating, develop the province as an solid defense zone in the new situation combining with socioeconomic development and defense – security consolidation; maintaining guarding to be ready for combating, monitor, forecast accurately the situation to give timely advises to superiors.

On this occasion, the High Command of Military Zone complimented 7 collective and 14 individuals. Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) conferred emulation flags upon 2 collectives, certificates of merit on 38 collectives and 48 individuals.
