Cultural environment setup in press agencies proactively responded to

Binh Duong provincial Association of Journalists (BDAoJ) held a conference to sign an emulation on constructing a cultural environment in press agencies, by which the press agencies in the province and their affiliates have clearly shown their determination in implementing the emulation contributing building a professional, humane and modern journalism.

Talking to us, Mr. Le Huu Phuoc, Chairman of BDAoJ, said that the organization and implementation of the emulation to build a cultural environment in press agencies in Binh Duong province aims to improve awareness and responsibilities of CPV committees, organizations, leaders of press agencies and journalists about the position and importance of culture for the development of the country in general and Binh Duong homeland in particular as well as the development of each press agency in the province.

Thereby, the emulation will promote the press agencies in the province to well perform the role and mission of the revolutionary press in preserving, building and developing an advanced and bold Vietnamese cultural momentum of national identity of traditional cultural values ​​of the locality, promoting information and dissemination about culture and its values ​​in the mass media or the journalistic products rich in culture, ethics and compassion that contribute to educating people with personality and building a healthy cultural environment.

Press agencies actively responded

Mr. Le Minh Tung, Editor-in-Chief of Binh Duong Newspaper, affirmed that the launch of the emulation as implemented by BDAoJ this time is vitally important. The criteria for building a cultural and cultural journalistic agency are clearly defined to help the units and each journalist to be deeply aware of the contents that need implementing to promote the construction of such cultural environment in the agencies. Based the general plan of BDAoJ, Binh Duong Newspaper will concretize into specific rules and regulations suitable to the situation and characteristics of the unit and will deploy to all staff, reporters, employees of the unit.

Mr. Lam Phi Hung, Director of Binh Duong Radio and Television Station, said that the actual implementation of the emulation and 12 criteria of building a cultural agency, the culture of Vietnamese journalists is very important for press agencies as well as journalists. Binh Duong Radio and Television Station will deploy to all officers, employees and all people in the agency to strictly comply with 6 criteria of the press agency. In particular, journalists operating in their professional fields must strictly adhere to the other 6 cultural criteria of journalists.

In order for the emulation of constructing a cultural environment in the press agencies to be implemented effectively and deeply rooted, according to Mr. Le Huu Phuoc, the emulation in fact must be maintained regularly, continuously, and practically to form a routine in press agencies and spread to the society. The press agencies in the province must thoroughly make officials, reporters, editors, journalists and employees in the agency be deeply aware of the emulation; thereby, responding to active and effective participation in building a cultural environment in press agencies, cultural behavior in operations, and formation of culturally-rich press products.
