Fifth congress of provincial Agencies Bloc’s Youth Union closes

The fifth congress of provincial Agencies Bloc’s Youth Union for the 2017-2022 tenure came to a close on the morning of August 9.

After two working days, the congresse elected a new executive board of the bloc’s Youth Union for the 2017-2022 tenure. Nguyen Duc Luan was re-elected as Secretary of the bloc’s Youth Union for the new tenure.

With the theme of “Youths of provincial Agencies Bloc with solidarity-creativeness-volunteer-responsibility-integration and development”, the congress has set targets such as organizing at least 35 activities to take care of policy beneficiary families and people with difficult circumstances; mobilizing organizations and individuals to donate at least 10 houses of compassion to policy beneficiary families; holding at least 20 shows on law dissemination among young workers and locals; striving to admit 800 outstanding youths into the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; recommending at least 800 outstanding Youth Union members to the Communist Party of Vietnam…

On this occasion, the congress also honored outstanding collectives and individuals in the local children and teenagers’ movements for the period of 2012-2017; presented gifts to delegates who made contributions to the bloc’s Youth Union in the last tenure.
