Provincial Business Bloc’s Youth Union opens fifth congress

The fifth congress of provincial Business Bloc’s Youth Union for the 2017-2022 tenure was held at provincial Convention and Exhibition Center on the morning of  August 6.

The bloc’s young people were a voluntary force in all socio-economic aspects in the last tenure. Particularly, the bloc’s Youth Union provided free medical check-up, medicine for more than 4,000 people with a total expense of more than VND659million; donated 78 gratitude and charity houses worth more than VND3billion to policy beneficiaries and poor people; presented more than 100,000 gifts to children with difficult circumstances; carried out a “lighting rural road” youth work with a total length of 13.8kilometes, made rural roads of more than 4 kilometers with a total expense of more than VND844million; organized “green Sunday”, “voluntary Saturday” campaigns…

With the slogan of “provincial Business Bloc’s Youth Union with aspiration, creativeness and integration for businesses’ development, a civilized, prosperous and modern Binh Duong”, the bloc’s Youth Union Standing Committee has set targets in the new tenure as follows: establishing at least 20 Youth Union branches in non-State businesses; having 100% of Youth Union branches with voluntary activities for the sake of the community; donating at least 5 houses of compassion and 15 “dream” rooms for Youth Union members, young workers with difficult circumstances…

The congress also elected a new executive board of the bloc’s Youth Union for the 2017-2022 tenure…
