Former State President Nguyen Minh Triet visits North Tan Uyen district

Early January 27, former State President Nguyen Minh Triet paid a visit to North Tan Uyen district. Nguyen Huu Loc, Secretary of the district’s Party Committee together with members of the district’s Party Standing Committee received the former State President

At the reception, Mr.Loc informed Mr.Triet about the district’s socio-economic performance last year. Particularly, the district fulfilled and exceeded the set targets in all aspects. The average income per capita in the district was VND36mln/year. Agriculture-forestry, industry and services accounted for nearly 48%, 30% and 23% of the district’s economic structure, respectively. Social order and security in the district was also maintained…

Mr.Triet expressed his delight at the evolution of the district since being established. He also hoped that the district would bring into full play the local potentials and constantly develop young human resources; continue strengthening the national great unity bloc, maintaining social order and security; promote economic development, pay attention to taking care of locals’ lives.

*On the morning of the same day, former State President Nguyen Minh Triet visited orchards in Hieu Liem commune. He highly appreciated the efforts by owners of the orchards in building up effective cultivation models, contributing to the local development.

Also on this occasion, he visited the headquarters of the district’s People’s Committee, extended best regards to all staff herein while encouraging them to continue being utterly dedicated to their work and together with locals to build North Tan Uyen into a more beautiful and prosperous locality.
