Get-together marks 68th anniversary of Vietnamese Students’ Day

*Traditional camping festival for pupils 2018 held

On January 6, the Youth Unions of Binh hoa, Binh Nham, Hung Dinh, An Thanh, Binh Chuan, Vinh Phu, Thuan Giao and Lai Thieu wards in Thuan An town held a get-together to mark the 68^th anniversary of Traditional Day of Vietnamese students (January 1, 1950-January 1, 2018) and the “Program lighting dreams of Thuan An’s students” 2018, with the participation of more than 100 Youth Union members.

The get-together aimed to review the traditional history of Vietnamese students. Following this, pupils and students in the town well realized movements and models, namely “Children in Thuan An well do 5 Uncle Ho’s teachings”, “Tree honoring thousands of good deeds”, “Diary on the movement of doing thousands of good deeds”…The “Small plan” movement also contributed to maintaining the “Ho Van Men-lighting dreams of pupils” scholarship fund, helping pupils and students with difficult circumstances to rise up in life. In addition, the town’s Youth Union awarded 8 scholarships worth VND1million each to pupils and students with difficult circumstances.

The get-together also took place very animatedly with significant activities, comprising of a culinary contest, a lucky draw and a fashion show themed “Color of fashion”…

*On the evening of January 6, Ben Cat town’s Division of Education and Training held the 3^rd traditional camping festival for pupils 2018.

This year’s camping festival absorbed the participation of more than 800 pupils from 8 secondary schools with such significant activities as folk games, a food exchange, an art performance…
