Gift visits paid to socially-privileged families

* Leaders of the 7th Military Region pay visits to Vietnamese heroic mothers

On the occasion of the 76th anniversary of Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 to July 27, 2023), Binh Duong provincial delegation led by Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the CPV Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Head of the provincial National Assembly Delegation visited and presented gifts to socially-privileged families in Thu Dau Mot city on the morning of July 20. Accompanying the delegation were Colonel Nguyen Hoang Minh, Standing Member of the provincial Party Committee, Commander of the provincial Military HQ, Nguyen Van Dong, Standing Member of provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Thu Dau Mot city Party Committee and leaders of departments and mass organizations.

Accordingly, the delegation visited and gave gifts to Vietnamese heroic mother Nguyen Thi Ruc, living in Phu Loi ward where Nguyen Van Loi graciously infered to the mother's health and thanked the family over the years for taking good care of her so that she can always have a happy life.

On behalf of the delegation, the Secretary of the provincial Party Committee sent gifts to the mother. On the occasion, on behalf of Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Deputy Minister of National Defense, Colonel Nguyen Hoang Minh presented gifts to her as well. Leaders of departments, branches and localities also gave many gifts.

In the morning of the same day, the provincial delegation visited and presented gifts to Le Van Tinh, Hero of the People's Armed Forces, living in Phu Hoa ward, Tran Thi Huong, Hero of the People's Armed Forces, Pham Van Ry, wounded soldier, Dang Duc Tien, a sick soldier veteran living in Chanh Nghia ward.

Previously, Binh Duong provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of the province held a ceremony to pay respects and offer incense at the provincial Martyrs Cemetery.

On the morning of July 20, the delegation of the 7th Military Region led by Major General Dang Van Hung, Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff, visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese heroic mother Nguyen Thi Dinh in Lai Thieu ward and heroic Vietnamese mother Tran Thi Tu in An Son commune of Thuan An city. The delegation visited and presented 10 grade-1 wounded soldiers in Thuan An city, each wounded soldier a gift worth VND 1 million in cash.
