HCMYPO grows up with country after 82 flower seasons

Early May 15, provincial Youth Union Standing Committee and Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization (HCMYPO) held a ceremony to celebrate the 82nd founding anniversary of the HCMYPO (May 15, 1941 - May 15, 2023) and meet generations of cadres in charge of the HCMYPO work of Song Be - Binh Duong province over periods.

The event was attended by Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Loc Ha, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial People's Council.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Loc asked for provincial Youth Union Standing Committee and HCMYPO to further inherit, preserve and uphold the good traditions of the Youth Union and  HCMYPO; pay attention to building a contingent of teachers, those in charge of the HCMYPO work; well advise on training, reserving staff to do the HCMYPO work to ensure the inheritance; coordinate with departments, agencies and mass organizations to promote child care, education and protection activities, especially protect children from acts of violence and abuse and protect them in cyberspace...

On this occasion, provincial Youth Union and HCMYPO honored 2 children with the "Kim Dong" award. This is the highest award of the HCMYPO for members with excellent achievements throughout the country. The Organizing Board of the program also awarded the "Arm of Kindness” scholarships worth VND3million each from Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund to 4 orphans, due Covid-19 pandemic; awarded scholarships to 30 poor-but-excellent students; handed over the symbolic boards of "Red scaft" house to members in need of housing.
